Ray Harryhausen: Titan of Cinema
Designed to coincide with what would have been Ray Harryhausen’s 100 birthday, this extensive exhibition – the largest ever staged for Harryhausen, and the largest ever exhibited at the National Galleries of Scotland.
From his early life right through to his charitable foundation, this exhibition covers a facinating career in the movies, creating monsters and heroes, friends and foes, all of which were less than 12 inches in height.

Using his own invention; Dynamation, he brought to life everything from skeletons to cyclops, gorillas to gorgons in such minute detail and clever craftmanship that generations of kids believed these creatures really roamed the earth.
Our design contributions to this mammoth exhibition included creating sets, labelling of exhibits, interior signage and wall panels, retail posters, and also the various materials to advertise the exhibition, both printed and digital.
