The National Fish and Chip Awards are now in their 32nd year, and are going from strength to strength. We’ve been part of the marketing team for these awards since 2007, and in 2011 we were asked to give them a full revamp. Make the awards ‘stand out and be noticed’, was our initial brief, followed by, ‘make them look premium – a real, world class award’. So we took the bull by the horns and turned around its fortunes.
Since 2011 the entries to the award have increased year-on-year, and the amount of publicity it gets has gone up three-fold. Our awards logo is used from Lands End to Brae in Shetland, and is an instantly recognisable sign of quality in the world of Fish and Chips.
