Helping bring the Royal Burgess Golfing Society into the 21st century

The Royal Burgess Golfing Society, founded in 1735, is the oldest golfing society in the world and one of only 10 “Royal” golf clubs in Scotland. While primarily a members’ club with a rich tradition, visitors and guests are also welcome.

At Zero we like to be flexible in our skill-set, and as we had previously worked with complicated and intricate brand digitising projects, we were sought out to help bring the RBGS crest, and brand into the 21st century. This involved a great deal of digitising and re-drawing on the computer, so that we could achieve similar results in a digital form as those achieved by the original artist of the crest in ink and paint.

From that we then created a full set of brand guidelines accompanied by a suite of digital logos for every concievable use.
